Little Energetic Boys
I wish I had the energy level of these two little darlings! When they stopped, I only had about a half of a second and then they were off again! They kept me on my toes. I need to be on my toes more often. Thank you little darlings! You were a joy to photograph!

The Dryden Family
What an adorable family! I just feel so lucky to be able to photograph such beautiful children! I get to do it a few times a month!!!! Our session started about an hour before sunset and I used my 50mm 1.4 the entire time. The girls had on these darling vintage like dresses their mom got at Target. Just one more reason to love Target! I love the look of the dresses in the dry desert landscape!
The Windsor Family
I had a fantastic photo session with the Windsor family a few weekends ago. It was the first cloudy day I can remember in a VERY LONG TIME! Clouds are always a bonus here in Arizona when shooting outside! These were taken at a Riparian Reserve and it was so fun to just let the kids run around and be themselves. I am really enjoying my on location shoots! (Jolena is an interior designer and moving to the Colorado Springs area in May. She is talented and affordable. Click on her name to email her.)
Trip to Mexico
We had an incredible time in Mazatlan, Mexico and now I am just trying to ignore the fact that my body still thinks its on a boat. I have been "rocking" all day long. Maybe its the sea sickness meds wearing off! Just wanted to share a few pics! We stayed at the El Cid Marina Hotel. That's me parasailing. My husband accidently pushed a button somewhere on my sister's camera that we borrowed, so all those pics came out in sepia. He caught a 160 lbs. marlin (its up to about 200 lbs. now) and we ate it grilled for dinner! I'd never kissed a fish before, and since I was already doing so many "firsts" on the trip, I thought I would give it a try. Quite slimy. Wouldn't recommend it!

My Lack of Blogging
Oh my, Oh my! It has been quite awhile since I have posted some fun photos! I am off to Mazatlan, Mexico today for a few days of relaxation with my husband. I will post some photos when I get back! PROMISE! I have had some really fun photo sessions lately. Can't wait to show you! Oh, and I have been working hard on my new website........maybe that is why there has been a lack of postings! My plan is for it to go live sometime next week. It is very close to being completed!
